Red, White & Blue Glitter Lips!

Red, White & Blue Glitter Lips!

Red White and Blue Glitter Lips

Summer is here and we're all about being Patriotic! 🇺🇸 We partnered with one of our Brand Ambassador Makeup Artists, Angelica Rae to create this super cool Red, White and Blue glitter lip just in time for all of your pool parties.

To achieve this look, you'll need the following products:

1.) Our Born to Sparkle® Glitter Eyeshadow Palette

2.) A red lipstick as the base for the red glitter. You can use either our Scarlet Rouge, Lady in Red, or for a little more orange undertone, Fiery Red. It's fun to play around and see which you like best. For our look, we used Scarlet Rouge.

3.) A nude lipstick as the base color for the white glitter. You can use either Chic Nude or Brynlee. We chose Chic Nude since we wanted the most neutral base color possible, but play around and see what you like!

4.) For the lip color base for the blue glitter section, we felt that a pink lip with a little bit of a blue undertone color worked best. A few you can use are: Sophisticated (which we used), Lacy Mauve or even Imperial.

• To start, you'll want to make sure you exfoliate your lips really well. We personally love this one from GLAMGLOW. But you can even make your own using a little brown sugar, honey and adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Glam Glow Lip Exfoliant

• Then, in order to get nice crisp edges, you'll want to apply a foundation to your lips.

• You'll want to start with the liquid lipsticks and section off the areas of the red, white and blue. A little trick that you can try to get the crisp lines is using beauty tape to create the sharp lines and fill each section in one by one.

• Now the fun part! Once the lipsticks have dried, its time for the glitter! Dab your finger in the palette to activate the color and you can apply directly with your finger, or for more precise application, we recommend using silicone applicators which will help you define the edges.

We're so excited to see what you create! Please make sure to share your pics on instagram and tag us in them!
